Casey The Caterpillar.
Here we are at Friday again...the weeks seem to be whizzing by!
We have been following instructions this week of how to put Casey together as part of our Monarch butterfly topic. All we have to do now is water Casey regularly and watch the grass seeds grow...we are even hoping that we will be able to give him/her a hair cut!!!

FOUND THEM!!!
Concentration to the max with the decorating.
Super cooks in the kitchen.
Rachel found them absolutely delicious....she enjoyed them so much she had another one !!
Finished product! Katetlyn took her butterfly cake home to give to her Mum for Valentines day!!MONARCH BUTTERFLIES....
We have becoming very knowledgeable about the life cycle of the Monarch butterfly,
Last week week we planted a swan plant in the hope that a Monarch will come and visit and we can watch the life cycle process in action. We are all amazed at how beautiful the cocoon is...how does that happen?????
Come and see the beautiful butterflies that we have made...they will be on the wall next week.
On Thursday we made butterfly cakes and decorated them with sprinkles. They were very scrummy.!
There are masses of wonderful photos to show you but we are having issues with downloading....sorry will have them for next week.

WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL !
Happy New Year everyone...hope that you have all had a relaxing break.
The Afternoon Programme team are all ready and fired up for a fun term of learning.
We have had a busy two days catching up on the children's holiday news...they have produced some stunning drawings and next week they will be writing a story about their holiday fun.
This year for our welcome board of super stars the children have chosen a T Shirt of their colour choice and we all brainstormed the wonderful attributes about one another . These words will be attached to the TShirts. ......come and have a look!!
